  • Apporter une expertise scientifique in\xc3\xa9gal\xc3\xa9e, en assurant une connaissance approfondie des produits de ViiV Healthcare et des pathologies li\xc3\xa9es au VIH.
  • Mener le d\xc3\xa9veloppement et la mise en \xc5\x93uvre d\'initiatives strat\xc3\xa9giques pour promouvoir l\'avanc\xc3\xa9e scientifique et la sensibilisation.
Excellence dans l\'Engagement Externe :
  • Cultiver des relations de confiance avec la communaut\xc3\xa9 m\xc3\xa9dicale et scientifique externe, favorisant une communication bilat\xc3\xa9rale et des partenariats.
  • Assurer des interactions responsables et opportunes pour construire un r\xc3\xa9seau scientifique solide b\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9fique aux objectifs de ViiV.
D\xc3\xa9veloppement et Ex\xc3\xa9cution de la Strat\xc3\xa9gie M\xc3\xa9dicale :
  • Diriger l\'orientation strat\xc3\xa9gique pour le portefeuille VIH, \xc3\xa9laborer et ex\xc3\xa9cuter des plans m\xc3\xa9dicaux solides align\xc3\xa9s sur des domaines sp\xc3\xa9cifiques de produits/pathologies.
  • Utiliser l\'analyse de donn\xc3\xa9es et les insights tir\xc3\xa9s des retours clients pour fa\xc3\xa7onner des strat\xc3\xa9gies m\xc3\xa9dicales exploitables.
Collaboration Transversale et Allocation de Ressources :
  • Collaborer \xc3\xa9troitement avec les \xc3\xa9quipes commerciales, d\'acc\xc3\xa8s au march\xc3\xa9 et d\'op\xc3\xa9rations cliniques pour aligner les objectifs communs et optimiser le d\xc3\xa9ploiement des ressources m\xc3\xa9dicales.
  • Plaider en faveur et assurer l\'allocation des ressources m\xc3\xa9dicales n\xc3\xa9cessaires pour soutenir la commercialisation r\xc3\xa9ussie des produits.
Leadership et D\xc3\xa9veloppement d\'\xc3\x89quipe :
  • Recruter, encadrer et fid\xc3\xa9liser une \xc3\xa9quipe experte de Liaisons Scientifiques M\xc3\xa9dicaux (LSM), favorisant leur expertise scientifique et garantissant la fourniture d\'informations pr\xc3\xa9cises aux professionnels de la sant\xc3\xa9.
  • Superviser et assurer une gouvernance m\xc3\xa9dicale ad\xc3\xa9quate de l\'\xc3\xa9quipe LSM, en garantissant une approche de portefeuille \xc3\xa9quilibr\xc3\xa9e pour les r\xc3\xa9unions scientifiques, les engagements et les \xc3\xa9tudes cliniques.
\xc3\x89ducation Continue et G\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9ration d\'Informations :
  • Encourager l\'expertise dans les avanc\xc3\xa9es scientifiques \xc3\xa9mergentes du portefeuille, permettant une \xc3\xa9ducation efficace des professionnels de sant\xc3\xa9 en fonction de l\'\xc3\xa9volution du domaine.

Medical Strategy Development and Execution:
  • Lead the strategic direction for the HIV portfolio, crafting and executing robust medical plans aligned with specific asset/disease areas.
  • Utilize data analytics and voice-of-customer insights to inform and shape actionable medical strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Resource Allocation:
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, market access, and clinical operations teams to align on joint objectives and optimize the deployment of medical resources.
  • Advocate for and ensure allocation of necessary medical resources to support successful product commercialization.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain a team of expert Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), fostering their scientific expertise and ensuring delivery of accurate information to healthcare professionals.
  • Oversee and assure proper medical governance of the MSL team, ensuring a well-balanced portfolio approach to scientific meetings, engagements, and clinical studies.
Continuous Education and Insight Generation:
  • Foster expertise in emerging scientific advancements within the portfolio, enabling effective education of healthcare professionals as per the evolving landscape.
  • Generate evidence in partnership with health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) to demonstrate the value of ViiV\'s medicines.
Collaborative Decision-making and Reporting:
  • Act as a strategic partner with cross-functional teams, providing medical guidance and aligning promotional engagement strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with North America Medical Affairs objectives, reporting performance metrics, and supporting pre-launch, launch, and lifecycle management activities.
Adverse Event Reporting and Compliance:
  • Timely reporting and documentation of adverse events in accordance with internal policies and regulations, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Post-graduate scientific degree (MSc, MD, PhD, or PharmD).
  • 5-7 years of industry Medical Affairs experience.
  • Previous line management experience (2-3 years).
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in leveraging scientific knowledge.
  • Understanding of the Canadian healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated courage, curiosity, agility and innovative thinking mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with commercial functions.
  • Strong project management, business, and financial acumen.
  • Valid license with a clean Drivers Abstract*
  • This position requires the employee to drive routinely on Company business and allows for the provision of a company \xe2\x80\x93 leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, ViiV will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Intermediate Bilingualism is an asset as this is a field role.
  • Strong foundation in virology or infectious disease.
