Quantum is looking for a

bilingual Operations Manager in the ITAD department

to lead the ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) operations in Montreal (Laval).

will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of ITAD's day-to-day operations through overall management and administration. This leader will oversee the team's staff, production, development, and leadership to drive production growth and product quality. The

Operations Manager - ITAD

is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors and ensuring the integration of strategic plans into ITAD's operations. Customer orientation, communication energy, teamwork, quality orientation and team management are essential.

Responsibility:



Actively manage employees to ensure adequate training, skills, and capabilities are demonstrated regularly and consistently, working with leadership and compliance to initiate improvement actions when gaps are identified and fostering teamwork. Overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of production processes, equipment and tools, including ensuring that required inspections, preventative maintenance and housekeeping are carried out and maintained to the required standards. Assist in monitoring financial performance, tracking and reporting key performance indicators, supporting budget tracking, and working with the team to identify opportunities for profitability and performance improvement. Responsible for appropriate personnel levels to meet facility requirements, including recruitment, hiring, terminations, and performance management, while maintaining morale by establishing and demonstrating strong business ethics in relationships with facility employees, suppliers, and customers. Compile data from Quantum systems to generate the month-end inventory report to maintain and ensure that a record of all supplies and inventory information and to whom these supplies have been appropriately distributed to the appropriate personnel, in order to be the inventory control officer for monthly and year-end counts by maintaining the inventory file, including changes to the location and layout of the inventory. Ensure that stock levels are properly managed and customer requirements are met in a timely manner. Review reports (e.g., inventory, production, and daily reports) to determine the company's operational activities and ensure optimal performance. Update work orders with the appropriate information to provide information to customers faster and easier. Measure and monitor key production and customer service areas. Manage improved efficiency and productivity through continuous tracking of inventories and work order records. Conduct management activities in the best interest of the company, ensuring that information about staff and the company is processed, communicated and stored with the utmost confidentiality. Ensure that you work with/use safety measures, procedures and devices as required. Identify, develop, implement and improve procedures and process flow in conjunction with existing company guidelines.

Qualifications:



5 or more years of effective leadership skills in a manufacturing environment with proven capabilities of strong focus on the factory floor and business processes. Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field or equivalent Establish the overall vision and direction for the implementation of plant administration. Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles. A clear and robust understanding of personnel policies, practices, procedures, and other operational issues facing the organization. Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety, environmental and employment legislation. Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability. Strong analytical, planning, prioritization and execution skills. A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including conflict resolution, and people management skills. Bilingual (French and English)
