Ce que vous ferez :



Gerer tous les aspects des bars, y compris les entrevues, l'embauche, l'integration, la planification des horaires du personnel et la gestion de la performance. Creer, mettre a jour et gerer les menus des bars Marcus en collaboration avec l'equipe de direction de la restauration et le chef mixologue, incluant les cocktails signatures et les offres saisonnieres. Etre responsable de la mise en place d'un calendrier rigoureux de preparation des bars et superviser les operations de preparation en collaboration avec le chef mixologue. Developper une academie pour barman junior afin d'assurer une releve pour les futurs barmans. Organiser et superviser le travail quotidien des barmans et des barmans juniors. Surveiller les niveaux d'inventaire, passer les commandes et controler les couts pour minimiser le gaspillage et eviter les ruptures de stock. Mettre en oeuvre les procedures d'ouverture/fermeture ainsi que les listes de verification, incluant le nettoyage et le rangement des bars et des outils. Gerer les plaintes des clients et resoudre les problemes de maniere professionnelle. Former le personnel aux techniques de mixologie, au service a la clientele et au service responsable de l'alcool. S'assurer que les normes de service des bars et lounges Four Seasons sont respectees en tout temps. Effectuer des tests de conformite aux normes. Organiser des evenements ou promotions au bar afin d'augmenter les ventes et l'engagement des clients. Agir en tant qu'ambassadeur de la marque et representer Marcus lors d'evenements de l'industrie. Etablir et maintenir la fidelite des clients en entretenant de solides relations avec eux. Executer toute autre tache assignee par le directeur de la restauration ou le directeur general de Marcus.

Ce que vous contribuez :



Minimum de 3 ans d'experience en gestion de bar, idealement dans un hotel, un complexe touristique ou un environnement de luxe. Une experience prealable au sein d'un etablissement figurant dans le palmares des 50 meilleurs bars en Amerique du Nord est un atout. Excellente connaissance des operations en restauration, avec une expertise poussee en vins, bieres et spiritueux. Connaissance approfondie et creative des cocktails, incluant l'approvisionnement des ingredients, la creation de menus, la presentation et la sensibilisation des clients. Capacite a mettre en oeuvre et superviser les procedures d'ouverture, de fermeture et de nettoyage. Une familiarite avec les systemes hoteliers tels qu'OpenTable est souhaitable. Bonne connaissance des normes de securite alimentaire et des reglements sanitaires. Comprehension de base des notions financieres (ex. : couts de main-d'oeuvre, etats des resultats, inventaire). Maitrise bilingue du francais et de l'anglais (parle et ecrit) requise ; la connaissance d'autres langues est un atout. Disponibilite pour travailler en soiree, les fins de semaine et les jours feries, selon les besoins. Connaissance requise de l'utilisation du materiel informatique.

About the role:

The Marcus Bars Manager oversees the daily operations of all hotel bars, ensuring high-quality service, compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and delivering a memorable guest experience. This role includes working in partnership with the Head of Mixology to create cocktail menus and to supervise all bar staff, training, inventory control, cost management and coordination with other departments to support hotel events and services.


What you will do:



Manage all aspects of the bars, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, staffing scheduling and performance management. Create, update, and manage the Marcus bars menus in collaboration with the F&B leadership team and Head of Mixology including signature cocktails and seasonal offerings. Responsible for ensuring a robust bar preparation schedule and overseeing bar preparation operations in collaboration with the Head of Mixology. Develop a Junior Bartender academy designed to pipeline future bartenders. Organize and oversee the day to day work of bartenders and junior bartenders. Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and control costs to minimize waste and prevent shortages. Implement opening / closing procedures and checklists including bar & tools cleaning / storage. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner. Train staff on mixology techniques, customer service, and responsible alcohol service. Ensure Four Seasons bar and lounge service standards are met at all times. Conduct standards testing. Organize bar events or promotions to increase sales and customer engagement. Act as brand ambassador and represent Marcus at industry events. Establish and maintain guest loyalty by building strong relationships with guests. Undertake any further tasks assigned by the Director of Food and Beverage / Marcus General Manager.

What you bring:



Minimum of 3 years of bar management experience, ideally within a hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality environment. Preferably experienced within the North America Top 50 Bars. In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, with strong expertise in wine, beer, and spirits. Extensive and creative knowledge of cocktails , including sourcing of ingredients, menu creation, presentation, and guest education. Ability to implement and oversee opening / closing and cleaning schedules. Familiarity with hospitality systems such as OpenTable is desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations. Basic understanding of financials (e.g. labor cost, P&L, inventory). Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) is required; additional language skills are a plus. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Requires knowledge of how to operate computer equipment.
