Job Description

As a Compliance Officer, your mission is to lead and maintain the company's compliance program, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, internal policies, and ethical standards, especially as it pertains to anti-corruption. You will support a culture of integrity across the organization and among third parties, while providing practical guidance to business teams and helping ensure that compliance requirements are clearly understood and applied. More specifically, you will:


Develop, implement, and maintain the company's compliance program, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory obligations; Maintain and promote the company's Code of Conduct, including providing training and support to ensure employee awareness and understanding; Draft, update, and enforce internal compliance policies and procedures in collaboration with relevant departments; Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and corporate obligations across business operations; Coordinate compliance onboarding and monitoring processes for suppliers and other third-party partners, including adherence to the Supplier Code of Conduct; Support internal teams with compliance-related inquiries, interpretations, and application of policies; Track and document compliance activities, ensuring auditability and clarity of processes; Contribute to internal training programs and awareness campaigns related to ethics and compliance; Monitor developments in applicable laws, regulations, and best practices to recommend updates to the compliance program; Assist with responses to regulatory requests, internal reviews, or compliance-related incidents, in collaboration with legal counsel, as needed.

Qualifications




Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field; Minimum five years of experience in a compliance, legal, or corporate governance role; Demonstrated experience in designing or managing a corporate compliance program; Solid understanding of internal controls, codes of conduct, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ethics, anti-bribery, public procurement rules); Experience managing third-party compliance and onboarding processes; Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Proficiency in English is required, as the incumbent will be required to interact with our English-speaking clients, partners, and suppliers; Successfully complete the investigation and security clearance process required by the federal government's Contract Security Program.
