Regulated Health Professional – Respiratory Therapist
Ottawa ProResp (Ottawa, Ontario)
Full-time Permanent Role (Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm)
Base Salary Compensation: Starting at $60,000 (and up, based on experience)

Registered Respiratory Therapists at ProResp are responsible for providing complex and chronic respiratory services within the community. ProResp has been the Provincial leader in providing Oxygen (compressed air and liquid) and PAP therapy. We were the first in Ontario to offer homecare services with the RRT as the primary healthcare provider. Today we continue that pioneering tradition with our Respiratory Therapists providing complex airway management and virtual care accessibility. Educational Requirements: Graduate of a recognized Respiratory Therapy Program
To be qualified:
  • Registered with the CRTO (or accredited by CSRT and eligible to be registered)
  • Enthusiasm for providing exceptional patient care
  • Able to work independently as part of a larger team
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must possess a valid, full Class G Drivers’ license with ongoing safe driving history.

Essential Duties
  • Candidates must have a valid certificate with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario.
  • Problem solving focus with high situational awareness and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to wear PPE including N95
  • Job classified as medium physical.
Hours of work: 37 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. It is a requirement of this role to participate in the shared rotational on-call schedule (additional compensation provided).
