About Goldeye Centre

Goldeye Lake Mountain Resort is undergoing a full transformation into a year-round boutique retreat destination in the Alberta Rockies. Just a short drive from Jasper and surrounded by lakes, trails, and mountain adventure, Goldeye will host everything from corporate retreats and weddings to wellness escapes and backcountry experiences.

With a soft launch beginning in 2025 and a full reopening planned for 2026, Goldeye is in redevelopment stage and we're assembling a team of multi-talented, flexible team members who want to be part of bringing a one-of-a-kind resort vision to life.

The Role: Resort Coordinator

This is not your typical administrative or hospitality role, it's a dynamic opportunity to be at the heart of a resort in transformation. We're seeking a

hands-on, highly organized Resort Coordinator

who can manage bookings and guest communication while also jumping in to support daily resort operations as needed.

You'll be the

first point of contact

for guests and clients, handling inquiries, coordinating bookings, and planning personalized experiences. But this role goes far beyond the desk, you'll assist with everything from event prep to grocery runs, bedding flips, and helping keep the resort clean, coordinated, and guest-ready.

If you thrive in fast-paced, all-hands-on-deck environments, love variety in your day, and want to be part of building something truly special, this is your chance to be a core part of Goldeye's journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Bookings & Communications

Manage incoming inquiries (phone, email, online), respond promptly and professionally, and guide guests through the booking process.

Coordinate room, event, and activity bookings, including confirming reservations, sending follow-ups, and collecting key guest details.

Work with the Director of Operations and AGM to plan and personalize guest experiences for weddings, retreats, and corporate groups.

Follow up with previous clients and returning groups; send updated marketing materials, brochures, and resort plans for 2026 to secure rebookings.

Administrative Support

Provide general administrative support to the Director of Operations and Assistant General Manager.

Maintain resort databases, guest records, and files; perform data entry, tracking, and report preparation.

Help prepare and distribute contracts, event details, invoices, and confirmations.

Assist with scheduling, communications, and supply orders.

Front-of-House & Housekeeping Support

Assist in flipping beds, cleaning rooms, and maintaining high housekeeping standards across all guest spaces.

Ensure shared areas (lodge, bathrooms, dining spaces) are clean, stocked, and guest-ready at all times.

Restock supplies, toiletries, linens, and amenities as needed throughout the property.

Help coordinate room readiness and support changeovers between group stays or events.

Work closely with the operations team to maintain a clean, welcoming, and functional resort environment.

Operations & Event Support

Assist with on-site event coordination: help set up and tear down for weddings, conferences, and group retreats.

Jump in where needed to support daily operations, including housekeeping, food & beverage service, and guest check-ins.

Help with odd jobs like grocery runs, room resets, laundry flips, cleaning bathrooms, and general upkeep of the resort.

Customer Service & Guest Relations

Greet and support guests on-site, providing friendly, informative service.

Answer questions about the resort, local attractions, amenities, and programming.

Respond to concerns and resolve issues in a timely and guest-focused manner.

Act as a go-to contact for ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for throughout their stay.

Who We're Looking For

You're organized, flexible, and unfazed by change. You love jumping between emails and errands, spreadsheets and service. You're naturally warm with people, but also grounded, dependable, and ready to get your hands dirty when needed. You bring energy, focus, and a positive attitude and want to be part of a close-knit team, building something meaningful from the ground up.

Qualifications

2-4 years experience in hospitality, office administration, customer service, or resort/camp operations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Tech-savvy with confidence using booking systems, spreadsheets, and communication tools.

Hospitality mindset - service-oriented, proactive, and guest-focused.

Ability to multitask and pivot between administrative and physical tasks throughout the day.

Comfortable working in a remote, rural environment and helping out in all areas of the resort.

Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to transportation preferred.

Free on-site staff accommodation (no rent or housing costs)
