Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Youth Care Workers to provide essential support to our 5 bed resource. You will provide a therapeutic daily living environment for the individuals of Fraser Residence. This entails providing and maintaining a safe, supportive atmosphere in a home setting that is culturally open and accessible to all children in care. House chores such as cleaning and providing well-balanced meals that follow the Canadian food guide.

Responsibilities

:

Assist clients with personal care tasks. Provide meal preparation. Medication administration. Educate residence on health and wellness practices to promote independence. Engage residence in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and progress. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.

Requirements:

Valid BC class 5 driver license High school diploma or Equivalent Up to date immunizations Valid First Aid with CPR (Willing to obtain) Food safe (or willing to obtain)

Pay: $23.73-$24.97 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week
