Residential Support Worker - Relief

Coastal Support Services Ltd. is looking for a Residential Support Worker with our Brain Injury Program

Nanaimo, BC

40 hours

per week

$25.50 - 26.00

an hour

Position Summary

Provide direct, front-line supports in the home of two male individuals with acquired brain injuries in 24-hour residential care.

Assist with personal hygiene, dietary needs, meal preparation, housekeeping, and community inclusion.

Contribute to individual's maintenance of a caring and dignified living space.

Maintain detailed progress notes after each shift and report to the Team Lead.

Education & Experience

Residential Care Aid / Community Support Worker Diploma or equivalent education in a related field is preferred.

1-year minimum experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience with setting personal boundaries.

Driver's license with clean driver's abstract will be required prior to start date.

Ability to obtain a current Criminal record check for working with vulnerable adults.

FoodSafe Level 1 is an asset.

Coastal Support Services Ltd. Is currently following the Provincial Health Order dated October 15, 2021. You must have proof of vaccination against Covid-19.
