Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our group home team. The successful candidate will provide direct care and supervision to individuals with developmental and/or behavioral needs in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Availability to work

weekends and/or overnight shifts is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily support with activities of daily living (personal care, meals, hygiene, routines) Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of residents at all times Implement care plans and behavioral support strategies as directed Maintain accurate documentation, including shift notes and incident reports Administer medication as trained and authorized Support residents with community outings and appointments when required Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and external professionals Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful living environment

Required Qualifications:

Availability to work weekends and/or overnight shifts Experience working in a group home or similar care setting preferred Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Clear criminal background check (Broad Record Check or Vulnerable Sector) Valid First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred (Asset):

Valid UMAB certificate (or willingness to obtain) Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities Valid driver's license
