About the Role

This is a steady, relaxed job focused on helping the home run smoothly and keeping residents supported.
Key responsibilities include:

Being a friendly, supportive presence for residents and offering assistance when needed Answering phones, taking messages, and communicating with staff or family members Preparing simple meals -- breakfast (toast and cereal) and a light lunch (soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, etc.) Cleaning up after meals and maintaining cleanliness in shared areas and washrooms Keeping the house organized and comfortable Receiving and organizing pre-packaged medications from the pharmacy
There's plenty of downtime throughout the day -- it's about using that time effectively and ensuring the home feels cared for.

Requirements

Valid First Aid & CPR Certification

Food Handler Certification

Vulnerable Sector Level 3 Police Check

Friendly, patient, and dependable attitude Comfortable preparing simple meals Good communication and organizational skills

Pay: $18.00 per hour
