About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Coordinator, the
Manager
is responsible for ensuring person-centered services for people supported so that they may reach their potential with equal opportunity and fully participate in the community around them. As a Manager, you would: Provide effective leadership within a fast-paced environment
Ensure a high level of individual and team performance
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures and initiatives
Have daily responsibility for staff scheduling and documentation
Oversee day-to-day service delivery
Ensure a commitment to the vision, mission and values of enVision
Qualifications
A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience is preferred, with experience and education/training in the Disability sector considered an asset
Strong relationship building skills and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach in resolving issues
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office / Outlook
Manual dexterity required to use desktop/laptop computers or other devices
Additional Requirements
Valid Manitoba Class 5F License and access to vehicle required.
Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certificate or willingness to obtain.
Criminal record check with Clear Vulnerable Sector check (current within last 3 months).
Clear Child and Adult abuse registry check (current within last 3 months).
Additional Information
Hours of Work: 80 hours bi-weekly (Between 28 to 30 hours of Admin, and the remaining hours as Direct Support Professional); Monday-Friday. Has to be on call after work hours from Monday to Sunday at least one week per month. Overtime may be required depending on operational needs.
