Position Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, reporting to the General Manager, you will be the face of Reliant Residential Services, representing the company with professionalism and skill at every job site you attend. The growth of our business depends on each interaction you have with our clients. Every service call is an opportunity to enhance our reputation through courtesy, competence, clear communication, and thorough completion of work.
We expect our Maintenance Technicians to continually seek improvements in how tasks are performed and to proactively share ideas with colleagues and management. A successful technician takes initiative, recognizes when something needs attention, and acts promptly to resolve issues.

Responsibilties
Perform a wide range of home and building maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to:
Painting
Drywall installation, mudding, taping, and texturing (new and repairs)
Carpentry (rough and finishing)
Door and window adjustments
Minor plumbing
Minor electrical
Landscaping
Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the shop, tools, and equipment
Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and inventory
Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on tools and equipment
Prepare accurate estimates for services
Use the work-order management system efficiently via smartphone for:
Work-order assignments
Tracking hours worked
Recording job expenses
Documenting billable kilometers driven in a personal vehicle
Uploading photos and notes before, during, and after the work is performed, noting all important details (issues, solutions, materials/products used, etc.)
Monitoring job status and progress
Other Duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Residential Maintenance Technician
Honesty and integrity
Commitment to delivering a positive experience and outcome for the customer
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address the root causes of issues
Willingness to work hard and tackle a variety of tasks with attention to detail
Dedication to maintaining a safe, clean worksite

Own reliable tools and vehicle required for use
