The Residential Leasing Agent plays a key role in facilitating the rental of residential suites and providing excellent customer service to prospective tenants.

In this role, you will...



- Reports to: Property Manager

- Answer rental inquiry phone calls, emails, texts and online booking requests, as directed by the Property Manager

- Provide information regarding all aspects of the rental property including but not limited to rental rates, lease terms, suite availability, rental incentives (if any), pet policies, building amenities and information about the neighborhood.

- Schedule showings in person or by video tour if available

- Show suites by appointment

- Provide Property Manager and/or Property Administrator with showings feedback

- Make suggestions regarding social media posts under direction of Property Manager

- Instruct interested applicants on application options and procedures

- Report condition of all vacant suites available for rent

- Other duties as required.

What you'll bring



- Grade 12 minimum, post-secondary education is considered an asset

- Professional approach and demeanor as a representative of Colliers in the community

- Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle

- Previous sales or marketing experience or training considered an asset

- An excellent customer service approach to handle daily interactions with potential renters/customers

- Experience using email

- Familiarity with social media mediums such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter considered an asset

- Ability to take initiative and deal intuitively with situations, work well under pressure and with minimal direction/supervision

- Independent, self-starter, team player

- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively and pleasantly with stressful situations

- Willing to show suites on any day in the week which may include Saturdays and/or Sundays, and may include evening showings
