VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Residential Garage Door Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential garage doors, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. What You'll Do

Install, maintain, and repair residential garage doors, openers, and related hardware according to company standards Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective solutions Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with clients Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all jobs Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects Stay up to date with new products, tools, and techniques in the garage door industry

What You'll Bring

Proven experience as a residential garage door technician or in a related mechanical/installation role Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Familiarity with garage door tools, hardware, and safety procedures Technical certifications or trade school background is an asset
