Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, repair, and maintenance of garage doors and related components. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality service for our customers.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain various types of garage doors and openers. Diagnose issues with garage door systems and provide effective solutions. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs. Ensure proper alignment of doors, including plumb adjustments. Restore or refurbish existing garage door systems to extend their lifespan. Conduct routine inspections of garage door systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Garage Door Technician or in a similar role within the construction or repair industry. Strong skills in reading blueprints and schematics. Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed. Knowledge of construction painting techniques is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively on-site. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required. Strong customer service and selling skills
