We are seeking 1st year to journeyman residential electrician. We cater to to Calgary and surrounding areas. Journeyman will be provided a company vehicle all other years must have own transportation. Electrician must have residential experience. Other benefits of our company is a 10% stat & holiday pay, golf tournaments and xmas parties.
Responsibilities
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in residential environments.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
Work on low voltage systems as well as high voltage power supplies, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Troubleshoot electrical works
Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work, including lockout/tagout procedures.
Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or remodeling projects to ensure electrical components are correctly integrated.
Requirements
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with residential electrician background.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical codes.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in electrical work.
Experience with low voltage wiring and systems is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
