Position Available: Residential Disability Support Worker
Job Overview:
At EIS, we are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Disability Support Workers. In this role, you will collaborate with a network of caregiver professionals to provide essential care and support to adults with disabilities in a residential setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing behavior management strategies, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other caregiver professionals within the individual support network.
Foster trusting, positive relationships with residents.
Assist with meal preparation and medication management.
Support residents in participating in activities.
Provide direct care and support in a residential setting.
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Implement behavior management strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
Uphold resident rights and promote a person-centered approach to care.
Qualifications:
6 to 18 months of experience in providing residential care to adults with disabilities.
Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
Ability to de-escalate and respond proactively to behaviors of concern.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate computer skills.
Working with persons with developmental disabilities: 1 year (preferred)

Split Shift (In 2 houses) Monday to Friday - 1:00am to 5:oopm (House 1) - 6:00pm to 9:00pm (House 2)
