About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Residential

Carpenter

with more than 2 years of professional carpentry experience to join our team. This role is an opportunity to apply your skills and your God given talent to custom residential projects where attention to detail, reliability, and pride in craftsmanship are paramount. Our ideal candidate is a skilled tradesperson who takes ownership of their work and is committed to building trust through quality.

What You'll Do

Perform carpentry tasks, including framing, installation, trim, and finishing work for residential projects Accurately read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and measurements Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment with precision and care Ensure projects meet Oaken's high standards of safety, quality, and craftsmanship Collaborate with project managers, trades, and apprentices to keep projects on schedule Identify potential challenges on-site and propose effective, practical solutions Mentor and guide apprentices and junior carpenters, fostering growth and accountability Uphold Oaken's reputation for reliability, professionalism, and detailed execution

What You Bring

Proven 2+ years of professional carpentry experience in residential construction Solid understanding of carpentry methods, tools, and materials Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision Team player who communicates effectively and works well under pressure A God given talentfor craftsmanship, precision, and problem-solving Attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and accountability for results Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site work
