Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals within Wickwire Place. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary for their well-being. Our ideal candidates will have experience in cleaning, senior care and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Duties



May provide personal care services including shower assistance, grooming, and dressing assistance. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any changes in health status. Assist with meal service. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing daily light housekeeping tasks. Document daily activities and report any concerns to the Building Manager.

Qualifications



Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is an asset. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and caregiving best practices is an asset. Strong communication skills. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Familiarity with working with seniors is a plus. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required.
