We are seeking Ready Reserve Security Supervisors for our data centre client. This role is a casual/back up position. You will be on call for shifts and could be contacted on short notice.We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.https://www.securitas.ca/careers/security-guardThe posting will remain open until filled.Position Overview:Wages: $31.00/hrShift timings: Varies, must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, nights and weekends.Locations: North York, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, EtobicokeRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site. Monitor area and dispatch responder guards to incidents involving client employees and contractors.
• Cover shifts when staff call in sick. Standdown in the event a guard is late.
• Perform supervisor duties including foot patrols (25000 steps per patrol). 4 patrols are performed per shift on an 8-hour shift.
• Perform routine foot patrols both exterior and interior.
• Allocate resources when needed to ensure all shifts are covered. Schedule security personnel when needed to assist shift security supervisors.
• Perform control room duties, monitor systems, ensure client property is protected at all times, review guard reports and ensure accuracy. Discipline security personnel when needed.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Responsibilities vary from site to site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Be able to walk up to 25000 steps per foot patrol on a 4 patrol per shift schedule.
• 5 years of security supervisor experience is required. Customer service experience in hospitality is a strong asset.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Must be able to work in an isolated environment. Cell phones are not permitted while on your post.
• Ability to travel to the site via transit or your own vehicle.
• Must be able to meet the requirements for a reliability clearance.
