SignalChem Biotech Inc. is seeking a well-qualified and experienced scientist with strong expertise in E. coli expression and protein purification, as well as the potential to lead CRO projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for CRO projects related to recombinant protein services, including evaluating, designing, planning, and executing experiments, either independently or in collaboration with teammates. Analyze experimental data and properly document experiments, and prepare experimental reports. Innovative experimental research aiming to advance the development of current and new product manufacturing. Troubleshoot experiments and identify abnormal or unexpected trends in data. Other related duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in recombinant protein production (PhD is preferred). Extensive experience in E.coli expression and purification is required. Experience in insect/mammalian cells is an asset. Experience in bioreactors is an asset. Knowledge of protein activity test. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams. Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills. Track record demonstrating meticulous and detail-oriented. Quick learner with the ability to rapidly apply new concepts and techniques.
