Overview

As a Research & Insights Advisor on our Marketing and Communications team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll provide a wide range of research, analysis, and decision support services to deepen our understanding of the needs, attitudes, opinions, perceptions, and behaviours of our stakeholders. You\xe2\x80\x99ll gather requirements, define research objectives, and conduct research that will enhance our ability to fulfill our mandate and improve the experiences we create for those we serve.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll provide strategic and operational leadership to support our Insights and Experience programs.

This is a temporary 12 month opportunity.

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work primarily from your B.C. home and once a month from our Richmond office.

What you\'ll do

  • Identify and scope research opportunities to support strategic planning, decision-making, and program evaluation
  • Be comfortable with a wide array of research methodologies, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, surveys, panels, and online discussion boards
  • Project manage clear project milestones, providing on-going consultation and communication with stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to synthesize multiple sources of information (including secondary research, and operational information)
  • Uncover and deliver insights, implications, and recommendations that drive business improvements in an easy-to-understand and engaging manner

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who can:
  • Develop focused research objectives and identify appropriate research solutions
  • Apply proper sampling techniques to achieve quotas, targeting, response rates, and representativeness
  • Synthesize data and information quickly and efficiently to report findings and draw succinct conclusions for internal partners from a variety of sources and making connections with prior research to \xe2\x80\x98join the dots\xe2\x80\x99 to maximize actionable insights
  • Build and maintain positive, effective working relationships with team members, partners, and clients
  • Be a confident presenter, able to facilitate workshops, moderate in-depth interviews and focus groups as needed
  • Lead research projects from inception to conclusion
Your background and experience
  • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or social sciences with a focus on market research
  • A minimum of six years of experience conducting market research with experience of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

Salary: $40.35 - $48.91/hourly
