Job Summary
Under the direction of the Lead and Faculty Grant Officers, the Research Finance Assistant will assist the Faculty of Health (HLTH) in creating a strong research-intensive environment as part of the Faculty's Research Support Team (RST).
The HLTH RST is the first point of contact for research services for HLTH researchers (e.g. faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, research grant employees, students) as well as to external university partners and the Office of Research Services, Research Accounting, Payroll, etc. The Research Finance Assistant will provide support in the coordination and delivery of research-oriented administrative and financial processes for the Faculty, including tasks related to preparing grant applications as well as post-award processes such as reimbursements, payments, and appointments.
Job Requirements
Experience:
This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to 3 years of experience working within a comparable environment.
