About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Critical Care Research Director and Manager of the Dalhousie Critical Care Department, the Research Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of interventional research projects conducted within the Department of Critical Care. This coordination includes the administration of the study/clinical trials, document management, participant recruitment, data collection, chart reviews, laboratory testing, and follow up visits. They oversee the daily operation of clinical research within the Department of Critical Care. This includes acting as a resource and support for staff and learners (i.e., medical students, residents, and fellows) involved in research, in order to facilitate consistency within the research program. The Research Coordinator is responsible to provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to determine the overall direction of research study activities and participant involvement in respect to the study under the direction of the Primary Investigator (PI).
