Position Summary:
The Centre for Media, Technology, and Democracy at McGill University is seeking applications for part-time Research Assistant to work on the Centre's strategic policy file for Online Harms and AI Policy.
The successful applicant will have:
Familiarity with AI and online harms policy in Canada and internationally
Experience in digital policy analysis, including AI governance
Comfortability with interdisciplinary research
Clear writing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
Contract Details
This position is a part-time contract position with the Centre for Media, Technology, and Democracy for up to 10hrs/week at $31.44/hr.
The Research Assistant will report to the Associate Director, Policy at the Centre for Media, Technology, and Democracy.
Education
Currently enrolled student at McGill University in a relevant field (e.g., Policy, Communication Studies, Media Studies, Political Science, etc.).

Hourly Salary: $31.44
