Ophthalmology Research
The Ophthalmology Research is currently looking for a Research Assistant II. This position provides hyperspectral data analytics support to research projects at a basic level. Tasks may include collecting and recording hyperspectral data, processing of data with statistical programming, and updating standard operating procedures and tutorials for research.
:
- Performing hyperspectral image acquisition
- Conducting data analysis with statistical software
- Presenting results to lab members and collaborators
- Preparing and maintaining standard operating procedures and tutorials for image acquisition and analysis
- Basic computer coding skills, particularly in MATLAB, Python and R
Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills are necessary
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to learn new skills
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner and flexibility to adapt to changing workload
