Research Assistant, Curriculum Studies

Primary Purpose:

The Research Assistant (RA) will contribute to an educational research project focused on teaching, learning, and emerging technologies. Working closely with the research supervisor, the RA will support multiple phases of the research process, including data analysis and synthesis, writing literature reviews, co-authoring journal articles, and collaborative dissemination of findings.


Education:

Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Technology and Design


Experience:




Two years of experience in educational research Demonstrated advanced critical thinking, analytical, and academic writing skills Prior experience as a high school teacher

Skills:




Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities with attention to detail Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Familiarity with the University of Saskatchewan research ethics protocols Training and mentorship will be provided for project-specific tasks, as needed
