Research Assistant 2 position in the Stem Cell Bioprocess Laboratory for the "Microchannel emulsification-based pancreatic cell encapsulation" project supervised by Prof. Corinne Hoesli. Assists laboratory members in performing cellular encapsulation experiments (microchannel emulsification, cell viability assessment, glucose-stimulated insulin secretion, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence imaging).
Responsibilities:Assist with grant application preparation, including updating CVs and drafting correspondence. Maintain research project documentation and records. Oversee data collection efforts and compile results. Assist with managing and securely storing project data and datasets. Analyze and interpret research data, ensuring quality and reliability. Contribute to the development and improvement of research methods and systems. Organize research meetings and prepare reports. Assist with the submission of abstracts and manuscripts.

Qualifications:Experience with Animal Cell culture and encapsulation. Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline.

Other Qualifying Skills:Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #3
