This Full-Time Research Assistant 1 position is based in Prof. Narges Armanfard's research lab in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
This Research Assistant role supports the development of AI-based applications across multiple lab projects, helping translate research into functional, user-facing prototypes. Key work includes advancing SeeVita's contactless, beat-to-beat blood pressure estimation platform through software engineering and cross-platform app development.
The role also contributes to Lab2Market (L2M) customer discovery and early commercialization activities, and supports other AI streams such as dataset collection/annotation pipelines for autonomous driving and deployment-ready clinical tools for epilepsy localization.
Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop cross?platform prototypes for AI applications.
Implement software features for SeeVita's contactless BP estimation platform.
Support dataset collection and annotation for autonomous driving projects.
Assist in building deployment?ready tools for epilepsy localization.
Contribute to L2M customer discovery and early commercialization activities.
Collaborate with researchers and maintain clear documentation.
QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
Strong problem?solving and teamwork skills.
Has a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to the research project
