The successful candidate will preferably have a minimum of 2-3 years related experience in a clinical and/or surgical office setting. A Bachelor of Science Degree is required with a preference in scientific research is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to complete assigned projects and additional tasks when assigned

Ability to maintain a positive outlook when challenges arise is required
Representative Duties
Under the general direction of the Director of Research and Business Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient provision of research support activities.
Duties include:
Interface with granting agencies/grant prep/studies/study registration submissions/ institutions/data banks for information access
Interface with multicenter
General study approval and application submissions:
Data sharing with partner associations
Interface with host programs for clinical trials
Data entry/transcription
Database Management
Annual submissions for ongoing study approval
Administrative maintenance of prospective studies: ensuring complete data collection, patient appointments, communication with regulatory agencies
Submission of completed articles for publication
Submission of completed abstracts to meetings
Submissions to regulatory bodies and granting agencies upon completion of study
Other duties as assigned within the job classification
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
