Job Description

This Sr. Account Executive is responsible for generating sales of comprehensive energy solutions, to include facilities infrastructure modernization in the MUSH market sector. Our teams present a value-based solution using a consultative sales approach in a multi-level decision making environment. You will be armed with innovative, outcome-based solutions to create flexible ecosystems focused on customer needs. This position will also enable you to grow as a professional with future upward mobility opportunities available throughout the Honeywell organization.



Key Responsibilities


Develop, own and execute a sales growth plan through multiple markets across the geography. Use a Solution Sales process methodology to qualify & disqualify complex sales opportunities for consistent, robust results. Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to executive level decision makers on outcome-based solutions to drive success in addressing key needs to support their mission. Utilizing consultative selling techniques to identify customer challenges and needs with respect to financial, regulatory, resilience and technology goals Articulate the benefits of infrastructure modernization and/or energy related approaches to drive critical savings and optimization across a customer organization Use of a disciplined sales and market development process that relies heavily on financial drivers Working knowledge of the emerging energy market and current public sector market drivers (i.e. energy resilience, physical security, alternative financing and cyber security) Lead cross functional team members through a multi-level organization to develop comprehensive solutions to generate overall cost savings and improved processes for customers Maintaining ongoing customer relationships using account management principals to ensure customer satisfaction and develop future opportunities After identifying specific program opportunities, develop and identify key stakeholders and decision makers to move the opportunity through the public agency procurement process

YOU MUST HAVE



Bachelors degree Minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience across a multi-state territory Minimum of 5 Years of complex sales and /or business development experience in one or more of the following vertical markets: state and local government, K12 schools, higher education or healthcare Bilingual in French and English

Master's Degree preferred A proven ability to build an internal and external partnership ecosystem for customer acquisition to develop a robust and sustainable opportunity funnel Team leadership and interpersonal skills Prior success leading large scale, multi-phase energy or technology programs Team leadership and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel locally by car and occasionally by air Experience selling data supported, outcome-based solutions to municipalities, public and/or private universities, K-12 school districts and state agencies at the C-suite level Direct Energy Services or Alternative finance experience Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment Understanding of state procurement processes and the state laws on financed solutions for the states you will be doing business Demonstrated presentation skills (In person and virtual) Experience selling to matrixed decision makers Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilites principales



Developper, piloter et executer un plan de croissance des ventes a travers plusieurs marches dans la region. Appliquer une methodologie de vente par solutions pour qualifier et disqualifier les opportunites complexes afin d'obtenir des resultats robustes et coherents. Devenir un.e conseiller.ere de confiance pour les decideurs executifs en proposant des solutions axees sur les resultats qui repondent aux enjeux strategiques de leurs organisations. Identifier les defis et besoins des clients en matiere financiere, reglementaire, de resilience et de technologie grace a une approche de vente consultative. Expliquer les avantages de la modernisation des infrastructures et des solutions energetiques pour generer des economies et optimiser les performances d'une organisation. Suivre un processus structure de developpement des ventes et du marche base sur des indicateurs financiers cles. Comprendre le marche emergent de l'energie et les dynamiques actuelles du secteur public (ex. : resilience energetique, securite physique, financements alternatifs, cybersecurite). Diriger des equipes pluridisciplinaires a travers une organisation multi-niveaux pour concevoir des solutions globales permettant des economies et une amelioration des processus chez les clients. Assurer un suivi des relations clients selon les principes de gestion de comptes pour garantir leur satisfaction et identifier de futures opportunites. Identifier les opportunites de programmes specifiques, puis engager les parties prenantes et decideurs cles afin de faire avancer les projets dans le cadre des processus d'achat des organismes publics.

EXIGENCES



Diplome universitaire (Bac+3 minimum). Minimum 5 ans d'experience en vente consultative sur un territoire multi-etats ou multi-provinces. Minimum 5 ans d'experience en vente complexe et/ou developpement commercial dans l'un des secteurs suivants : administration publique, ecoles K-12, enseignement superieur ou sante. Bilingue francais et anglais.

Un diplome de niveau Master (prefere). Capacite averee a developper un ecosysteme de partenariats internes et externes pour l'acquisition de clients et le developpement d'un pipeline d'opportunites durable. Competences en leadership et en relations interpersonnelles. Experience reussie dans la gestion de programmes energetiques ou technologiques de grande envergure et multi-phases. Volonte de voyager localement en voiture et occasionnellement par avion. Experience dans la vente de solutions axees sur les resultats et basees sur des donnees a des municipalites, universites publiques et privees, districts scolaires K-12 et agences d'Etat, au niveau des cadres dirigeants. Experience dans les services energetiques directs ou le financement alternatif. Capacite a travailler dans un environnement dynamique et fortement structure. Comprehension des processus d'achat publics et des reglementations sur les solutions financees dans les regions couvertes. Competences averees en presentation (en personne et en virtuel). Experience dans la gestion des decisions au sein d'organisations complexes et matricielles. * Excellentes competences en communication ecrite et verbale.
