Activities include: negotiation, sale, installation or delivery, and post-sale services. Ce que nous recherchons :



Baccalaureat en sciences ou equivalent, ou experience pertinente requise. 1 a 3 ans d'experience dans un environnement de vente complexe et dynamique, ou plusieurs personnes sont impliquees dans la decision d'achat et ou l'approche est basee sur les solutions. Une experience de la vente interentreprises est preferable, en particulier une experience de la distribution, une formation scientifique et/ou une experience dans un laboratoire ou un environnement de recherche. Excellentes aptitudes relationnelles pour communiquer et collaborer avec les clients, les representants des fabricants, la direction, les membres de l'equipe et les specialistes internes. Capacite a mener une conversation commerciale avec des chefs d'entreprise et des decideurs. Capacite a travailler de maniere independante et a gerer avec succes son temps et son territoire. Excellentes competences analytiques et capacite a vendre de maniere strategique au sein d'un compte. Capacite a comprendre les activites de chaque client. Connaissances informatiques, y compris Microsoft Office, avec une preference pour l'experience GRC. Le bilinguisme francais/anglais, a l'oral et a l'ecrit, est exige. Nous exigeons des competences de base en anglais pour repondre aux besoins de nos clients et fournisseurs et pour interagir avec les activites d'Avantor en dehors du Quebec, ou la premiere langue est l'anglais. Titulaire d'un permis de conduire valide et en regle. Etre dispose a se rendre chez les clients au moins trois jours par semaine. Les associes commerciaux canadiens sont tenus de se rendre aux Etats-Unis pour assister a des conferences commerciales annuelles et a des seances de formation occasionnelles.

Gerer avec succes un territoire compose de divers clients sur differents marches en fournissant des solutions Avantor et en mettant en oeuvre des strategies de vente afin d'optimiser la croissance du chiffre d'affaires et les benefices bruts. Prospecter et etablir de nouveaux clients en gerant un pipeline de ventes et en elaborant et en presentant des propositions aux clients en illustrant la proposition de valeur d'Avantor. Developper le role d'Avantor aupres des clients existants en elaborant des strategies de fidelisation illustrant la proposition de valeur d'Avantor en conjonction avec l'evolution des exigences des clients. Vendre de maniere consultative, en detaillant les produits, en determinant les besoins et les exigences des clients et en faisant des recommandations aux clients et clients potentiels sur les diverses solutions qu'Avantor peut offrir a leur entreprise. Etablir et maintenir des relations avec les clients et veiller a leur satisfaction et a leur fidelite. Tirer parti des ressources disponibles pour mettre en oeuvre efficacement le plan de marketing, les strategies et les processus de vente de l'entreprise. Travailler en collaboration avec l'equipe de gestion des ventes, fournir des propositions et mettre en oeuvre des strategies de vente pour atteindre une croissance des ventes. Travailler directement avec les representants des fabricants locaux afin de developper et d'ameliorer continuellement la connaissance des produits, d'obtenir les prix les plus avantageux et d'ameliorer la rentabilite des comptes. Demontrer la mission d'Avantor et respecter le code de conduite d'Avantor. Effectuer les autres taches qui lui sont confiees.

Avantor is looking for a dedicated and high energy

Sales Representative

to maintain and advance our local Laboratory Sales efforts. This role will be a full-time position based in the Greater Quebec City Area. You will have the opportunity to consultatively sell Avantor's large portfolio of products and services to a diverse group of current and prospective clients. What we're looking for:



Bachelor's degree within sciences or equivalent, or applicable experience required. 3-5 years of experience working in a complex, dynamic sales environment, where multiple people are involved in the purchasing decision and there is a solution-based approach. Business-to-business sales experience preferred, especially distribution experience, scientific background and/or having work in a laboratory or research environment. Excellent people skills in communicating and collaborating with customers, manufacturing reps, management, team members and internal specialists. Ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers. Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and territory. Excellent analytical skills and ability to sell strategically within an account. Ability to understand individual customer operations. Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, with preference for CRM experience. Bilingual French/English, oral and written is required. We require basic English skills to meet the needs of our customers and suppliers and in order to interact with our Avantor operations outside Quebec where the first language is English. Holder of a valid Driver's License in good standing. Willingness to travel to customer locations minimum 3 days a week. Canadian Sales associates are required to travel to the United States for annual sales conferences and occasional training sessions.

Successfully manage a territory consisting of diverse customers across various markets by providing Avantor solutions and implementing sales strategies to optimize sales revenue growth and gross profits. Prospect and establish new customers by managing a sales pipeline and developing and delivering proposals to customers by illustrating Avantor's value proposition. Expand Avantor's role with existing customers by developing retention strategies illustrating Avantor's value proposition in conjunction with evolving customer requirements. Sell consultatively, detailing products, determine customer needs and requirements, and make recommendations to both prospects and customers of the various solutions Avantor can offer their business. Build and sustain relationships with customers and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Leverage available resources to effectively implement company marketing plan, strategies and sales processes. Work in conjunction with sales management team, providing proposals and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales growth. Work directly with local manufacturer representatives to develop and continually improve product knowledge, arrive at most favored pricing, and improve account profitability. Demonstrate Avantor's mission and uphold the Avantor Code of Conduct. Performs other duties as assigned.
