Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for developing sales in a specific geographic territory. Duties include prospecting for new business and making calls to existing and new customers for the purpose of selling Automotive Finishes products, which include Sherwin-Williams labeled automotive paint and associated products. Typical accounts include automotive body shops, production, and fleet shops.

Utilise notre systeme de gestion de la fidelisation de la clientele (CRM) pour enregistrer toutes les visites des clients et suivre la progression des nouveaux comptes. Developpe une strategie de pre-appel quotidienne et hebdomadaire pour garantir que le temps est correctement alloue. Realise des demonstrations de produits pour aider a la vente et a la commercialisation de produits de finis pour automobiles. Accede aux informations sur le produit et techniques pour repondre aux exigences d'application des clients. Identifie les moyens de renforcer la relation commerciale avec les clients. Maintient une communication efficace avec le directeur des ventes sur les strategies et les opportunites sur le marche. Respecte a tout moment les normes de securite de l'entreprise. Collect reliable customer/territory information and estimate individual customer potential. Conduct competitive product comparisons and identify current competitors' strengths and weaknesses and S-W's competitive advantage. Develop a strategy to grow sales and profits to key, potential, new and existing customers. Through the sales process, identify the customer's needs and develop solutions to profitably grow sales. Develop a regular sales call schedule to ensure that the needs and expectations of the customer are met. Familiarize self with all products, including their application and preparation, in the Sherwin-Williams Automotive line. Utilize our Customer Retention Management System (CRM) to log all customer visits and track the progress of new accounts. Develop a daily and weekly pre-call strategy to ensure time is properly allocated. Conduct product demos to assist in selling/marketing of automotive refinishing products. Access product/technical information to support customers' application requirements. Identify ways to strengthen the business relationship with customers. Maintain effective communication with sales manager on strategies and opportunities in marketplace. Adhere to company safety standards at all times. Additional duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE :

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES :

Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou equivalent Doit avoir au moins 2 ans dans un poste lie au service a la clientele Minimum d'un an dans un poste lie a la vente Capacite et volonte de voyager selon les besoins Antecedents de gestion efficace en matiere de controle des depenses, de gestion des ventes et de direction du personnel Doit etre capable d'utiliser un ordinateur et maitriser les produits Microsoft Office Competences mathematiques de base


QUALIFICATIONS PREFEREES

Experience en vente dans les domaines des revetements, de l'automobile ou dans un domaine connexe Une experience en vente externe est fortement preferee Baccalaureat Experience de l'utilisation d'un systeme de gestion de la fidelisation de la clientele (CRM) pour enregistrer les visites des clients et suivre la progression des nouveaux comptes. Experience anterieure dans la realisation de demonstrations de produits pour aider a la vente et a la commercialisation de produits Competence dans l'elaboration d'une strategie de pre-appel pour aider a garantir l'efficacite du temps

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a valid driver's license Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to effectively communicate and influence others May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent Must have at least 2 years in customer service-related position Minimum of 1 year in sales related position Ability and willingness to travel as needed Previous record of effective management with regard to expense control, sales management, and directing personnel Must be able to operate a computer and have proficiency in Microsoft Office products Basic math skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Sales experience in coatings, automotive, or a related field Outside sales experience is strongly preferred Bachelor's Degree Experience utilizing a Customer Retention Management System (CRM) to log customer visits and track the progress of new accounts Previous experience conducting product demos to assist in the selling/marketing of products Proficiency in developing a pre-call strategy to help ensure efficiency of time
