We are looking for a Reporting Formatter to join our Sustainability Team. You will be highly motivated individual with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to work with our talented team in delivering outstanding service to our clients. This position could be located in Ausenco\xe2\x80\x99s offices either in Burnaby, Victoria or Whitehorse with a flexible, hybrid model. There is also the option to work part-time. About the role

  • Format reports at speed to ensure they are formatted correctly, well-branded, consistent, and of high-quality that showcase Ausenco\xe2\x80\x99s commitment to excellence.
  • Utilize your expertise in Word, Excel, and Adobe to create visually appealing and engaging documents, following Ausenco\'s reporting standards and style guides, showcasing your technical prowess and creativity.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment: Demonstrate your ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, meeting sensitive reporting timelines and delivering quick turn-around times, showcasing your ability to handle challenges and deliver results.
  • Foster collaboration: Work closely with staff across the firm to coordinate report production, providing valuable support and contributing to a collaborative and cohesive work environment, showcasing your teamwork skills.
  • Contribute to process improvement: Support the advancement of the document control system and process, actively participating in the continuous improvement of workflow efficiency, showcasing your proactivity and commitment to optimizing processes.



About you:
  • Experience in document production/reporting within an environmental and/or engineering consulting firm
  • Experience in formatting and producing multi-volume environmental assessment is an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word: Expertise in template development, styles, page formatting, sub-bullets, table and figure formatting, creating PDFs, and utilizing shortcuts,
  • Excel mastery: Proficiency in formatting, page breaks, page headers/footers, table spreads, and creating PDFs.
  • Manage report formatting requests.
  • Adobe Professional skills: Familiarity with PDF-Maker for securing PDFs, collating multiple documents, editing, creating bookmarks, and cropping.
  • Expertise in MS Word template creation and refinement
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proactive troubleshooter: Skilled in identifying and resolving formatting problems, utilizing available resources to answer questions.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, thriving under pressure and tight timelines
  • A strong focus on detail and quality, working fast and efficiently, ensuring high-quality outputs.
