Job Description

The Retail Division is a part of the JD Irving Limited group of companies. The retail division includes Kent Building Supplies, a large home improvement retailer with 49 locations in Atlantic Canada. Atlas Structural Systems , a manufacturer of pre-engineered structural systems with 10 locations, Chandler Sales with 7 very distinct divisions including sanitation, food services, apparel, communications, industrial and safety with 7 locations and Plasticraft, a digital printing company

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reports and dashboards in Power BI / Cognos Analytics/ TM1 to facilitate effective management of key business KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and processes
• Complete enhancements to reports in management reporter
• Implement Microsoft D365 financial insights which includes predictive capabilities
• Participate in design sessions and development of reports and visuals to proactively monitor or predict key business risks
• Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required

Successful Candidate will possess the following:

• Degree in Business/ Accounting/Finance or relevant work experience
• Strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret data
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly; demonstrate flexibility when presented with change
• Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills, self-driven, motivated, brings value to every interaction.
• Data visualization experience
• Knowledge of Power BI/ Tableau/ TM1/ Cognos Analytics considered an asset
