Position Summary:

The Replenishment Buyer will work with a set of vendors and inventory categories to manage vendor relationships, purchasing, inventory, stock management and ensure inventory listings are kept up to date.

Job Responsibilities

Maintaining relationships with vendors

Purchasing inventory and following up with vendors on availability and ship dates

Reviewing sales and stock quantity to ensure the maintenance of acceptable inventory levels

Creating and submitting custom special orders

Keeping retail staff as well as customer service and marketing departments informed of inventory availability

Maintaining product information and assisting the marketing department in sourcing information and pictures

Assisting in building product selection

Job Qualification:

Supports, promotes and ensures alignment with the organization's vision and values

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Strong analytical skills and comprehension

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to work independently, and in a team environment while managing priorities

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED

1-2 Years of experience purchasing consumer goods

This position will be based at our Head Office and Distribution Centre in Edmonton, AB and reports to the Director of Supply Chain Management.
