The role:
The repair technician fixes the lighting equipment used on some the largest live events from rock concerts to theater shows. The successful candidate will be part of a small, warehouse-based, repair team tasked with maintaining Christie Lites\' equipment to the highest standard. Every day will bring a new challenge troubleshooting everything from LED Fixtures to Computers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and fix issues with Christie Lites\' rental equipment.
- Work with the Department Head to ensure that urgent service requirements are fulfilled.
- Carry out preventative maintenance as defined by our repair processes.
- Order parts, log repairs and organize returns through our software systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electric and/or mechanical equipment.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work to a deadline.
- At home in a fast-paced, dynamic, warehouse environment.
- Comfortable with MS Office applications and Windows.
- Experience working with stage lighting equipment.
- Experience with PCB level repairs and through-hole soldering.
