Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Service:
Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors to ensure they meet company standards.
Wash and clean the exteriors of all vehicle types, including cars, SUVs, and minivans.
Inspect vehicles for damage, fuel levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels; report any safety or maintenance issues.
Perform necessary vehicle maintenance, such as refueling, tire checks, and fluid top-offs.
Stage vehicles, ensuring they are ready for customer use and clean both inside and out.
Rental Operations:
Greet customers and provide them with the necessary information about their rental vehicles.
Complete rental agreements and contracts accurately, ensuring all required documentation is provided.
Manage customer inquiries, address concerns, and ensure they have a positive experience during their rental period.
Assist in processing vehicle returns and perform final inspections to check for damages or discrepancies.
Prepare and update vehicle availability schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
Coordinate with customers for transportation services, including providing rides to and from locations when necessary.
Administrative Support:
Answer phones, schedule rental appointments, and handle general customer inquiries.
Assist in managing the rental fleet's booking system and input customer information into the database.
Perform filing and invoicing tasks, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Support the team in day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth workflow in the branch.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office, rental lot, and vehicles.
Handle any customer service issues or requests in a professional and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1 year in vehicle service, rental car, or customer service roles.
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Customer Service Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, keep track of rental schedules, and ensure vehicles are ready and available as needed.
Computer Literacy:
Proficient in using office software and booking systems.
Physical Ability:
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and able to perform physical tasks such as cleaning vehicles and moving them between locations.
Reliability:
Punctual, dependable, and willing to be
on-call for after-hours rentals once or twice a week
. This includes attending to any necessary rentals outside of regular hours. Additionally, you must be available to work
at least one weekend per month
, with the possibility of more, depending on business needs. Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing work conditions.
Work Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in Canada without the need for future sponsorship.
Languages:
Multilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
