Position Summary
The Rental Property Manager will oversee a large portfolio of residential condo rentals, manage tenant and landlord communications, coordinate maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with Ontario's Residential Tenancies Act. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has deep experience with Toronto rentals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations for a large portfolio of residential condo rentals.
Communicate with tenants, landlords, and building management regarding maintenance, payments, and general inquiries.
Resolve conflicts and complex issues professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) and Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) processes.
Coordinate work orders with contractors and building management (remotely; no on-site visits).
Maintain accurate documentation and records within internal systems.
Provide responsive, high-level customer service to landlords, tenants, and partners.
Handle insurance claims and coordinate with insurers, adjusters, and building management as required.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of rental/property management experience in Toronto
Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)
and
Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB)
procedures
Fluent in Cantonese
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think clearly under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with tenants, landlords, and vendors
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling high-volume workflows
Tech-savvy and comfortable with spreadsheets, property management software, and digital tools
