Simco Management (Calgary) Inc. currently has an opportunity for a full time

Licensed Rental Property Manager.

Please be sure to note the name your license is held under so that we may perform a RECA search for your credentials. We are looking for an experienced, highly organized, and self-motivated professional.

Requirements

2-5 years' experience in Property Management. Must hold a Property Manager license with RECA (please note this is not the equivalent to a Condominium Management License)

Strong ability to multi-task; be proactive; and understand attention to detail

Must have a sense of urgency and an ability to meet deadlines

Well-developed communication skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Competency with: Alberta Residential Tenancies Act, RECA and RTDRS

A High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability is necessary

A valid driver's license and vehicle

Primary Responsibilities

Provide high level of customer service to both the owner and the tenant

Provide financial and rental income information to the owner

Provide safe, clean rental units to tenants

Manage maintenance requests with consult from vendors and owners to make sound decisions on course of action

Conduct viewings, inspections, process all leasing documents

Maintain a team environment through communication with owners, tenants, trades and when needed Simco's Broker

Manage accounts receivables

Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures

A well-defined sense of diplomacy including solid negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills;

Strong negotiation skills and understanding of vendor relations including quotations and purchase order management

Meet potential property owner clients and ensure the marketability and current state of the property

Support and maintain all company policies and procedures regarding property operations.

Maintain a current, in-depth knowledge of each property within the assigned portfolio.
