Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional Sales Agent to assist us with the acquisition and sales of our properties. The Sales Agent will ensure properties are acquired properly, market properties and screen prospective tenants. You will preserve favorable relations with property owners and tenants, contribute to a positive atmosphere in the office and portray a positive image of the company in your activities. You will oversee and coordinate the orientation of new tenants and landlords. To be successful you need to balance the needs of property owners with those of tenants, and achieve occupancy and rental goals. Top applicants are proficient multitaskers, organized and have strong people skills and are sales focused.

This position is a base plus commission position.

Rental Agent Responsibilities:

? Advertising available properties and conducting property tours as part of marketing activities.

? Screening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements.

? Completing lease applications and assisting with verification of application information.

? Put out rental signs

? Give current tenants notice of entry for showings

? Work with various other companies to showcase their rental properties

? Respond to rental inquiries on facebook, kijiji etc.

? Inspecting properties when tenants take occupation and vacate.

? Liaising with tenants to provide information and address their complaints and concerns.

? Take initial landlord calls to showcase our brand and provide information on our services. Ensuring landlords property meets our brand and we are a good fit for their needs.

? Meet prospective landlords on site and review their property and next steps

? Collect landlord contracts and questionnaires

? Liaison with leasing to ensure all tenants and landlords have complete files

? Meet monthly KPI's for rentals and landlord acquisitions

? Create social media posts and good understanding of marketing in relation to tik tok, facebook and instagram

? Improve/acquire business development relationships with corporate partners and insurance companies

? Provide friendly, upbeat customer service Sales Agent Requirements:

? 3+ work experience as a Rental Agent or similar position (preferred)

? Proficient knowledge of real estate industry, property management principles and relevant legislation. Bilingual is an asset

? Valid driver's license with clean driving record and car

? Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

? Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

? Strong people skills with a customer service focused attitude

Job Type: Full-time Salary: Based on experience, base plus commission per rental/landlord acquisition. Company card, company phone, mileage paid

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
