Seeking a well rounded, Lead hand Skilled Carpenter for residential and commercial renovation projects to join our team.

Must be skilled in various tasks including:

Rough (Framing) and Finished Carpentry (Trim & Cabinetry), blueprint reading, experienced as skilled carpenter, painting, drywall, flooring, execute various projects including (Additions, Kitchens Renovations, Basement Finishing) as well as coordinating subcontractors involvement to each scope of work, good knowledge of various building materials and methods involved with construction, take leadership in all tasks and responsibilities, abide by construction code of conduct with all sub-trades, employees, clients and homeowners.

Qualifications:

-Minimum of Three years experience in residential renovations and/or homebuilding in Canada.

-Familiar with construction site safety requirements.

-Familiar with the different systems that make up a house.

-Able to read and interpret construction drawings.

-Strong oral and written English communication skills, and comfortable directing others.

-Detail-oriented, obsessive about maintaining order and tidy surroundings.

-Able to lift and carry typical construction materials and waste.

-Possess valid driver's license and own your own vehicle.

Location/Hours:

Various construction sites, Full-time Monday to Friday, with occasional work required on Saturdays. Typical work hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm M-F.

THIS IS A HANDS ON POSITION, NOT OFFICE WORK OR SUPERVISION.

Compensation:

Approximate $28 - $40 per hour depending on experience and hours worked.
