Renovation Project Manager

KCB Design Build has a 44 year old track record of excellence and is a well respected and well-known company in Red Deer. We are looking for highly driven, highly ethical people to join our growing team at KCB Design Build. We are an award-winning design/build renovation and custom cabinet firm. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, have impeccable problem solving, management, and customer service skills. Applicants must have background in

construction.

Job Purpose: Working as a team with sales, estimator, Designer, manage jobs to completion achieving customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability for the company. Prime responsibility is jobsite, client, and sub-trade management. Communication is critical. The PM must always conduct themselves in a highly professional manner in every regard.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Pre-production, management

Management of Project Management Assistant (PMA)

Jobsite management

Client, sub-trades, and KCB team communication

Maintain profitability and savings awareness

Final job inspection

Running of weekly schedule meeting

Occasional service work

Requirements:

Ability to understand completely how a home is constructed, and what is required to renovate. Be able to determine load baring walls, and predict problems company may be faced with during/after construction

Ability to read, and interpret blueprints

Must be able to use computers efficiently for updating schedules and communicating with team and clients

Excellent client management and a positive attitude

Excellent trade management skills. Must be able to hold workers accountable.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and communicate effectively with team, management, trades, and clients

Must posses a strong work ethic, punctuality and the ability to work in an intense, exciting, fast paced environment.

Monday - Friday. 830-5

Occasional evening or Saturday if needed

Experience Requirements:

Journeyman Carpenter is an asset
