The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing renovation projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organization, and excellent communication with clients, trades, suppliers, and internal team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate renovation projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site crews ensuring quality and safetystandards.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Lead project meetings and coordinate with architects, designers, and inspectors.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
Ensure all projects follow occupational health and safety guidelines.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop solutions to stay on track.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates, respond to inquiries in atimely manner and managing expectations.
Conduct project walkthroughs and manage client expectations to ensure quality andadherence to project scope.
Close out projects with thorough inspections and documentation
Maintain up-to-date project files, schedules, and change orders.
Address and document any deficiencies or warranty issues
Prepare project reports, budgets, and contracts.
Track expenses and manage project costs against the budget.
Approve invoices and ensure all billing is accurate
Minimize cost overruns and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years experience in renovation or construction project management
Strong knowledge of renovation processes, building codes, and project managementsoftware.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and drawings.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Relevant certifications (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
