Little Star Renovations is a Vancouver-based design-build company with more than 18 years in the business. We're searching for a thoughtful and experienced project coordinator and administrator with excellent communication and technical skills to join our vibrant, unique Little Star culture. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations -- keeping projects on track, coordinating with clients, trades, and team members, and juggling multiple moving pieces. You'll be organized, detail-oriented, and excited to wear many hats. Every day is different, and you'll get to take initiative and make a real impact on projects in both the design and build phases.

This is a flexible, remote-friendly role -- ideal for someone based in Vancouver, Greater Vancouver, or the Comox Valley. Occasionally, you may meet with our team in Vancouver or visit clients on-site.

Flexible Hours: 15-20 hrs/wk, as our workload dictates (this may vary and could be less depending on seasonality and project volume).

Schedule: Flexible availability (within general 9-5 hours), comfortable working remotely, and a reliable home setup.

As a Project Coordinator and Administrative Support you will...

Coordinate projects from design to build, keeping timelines, schedules, and communications on track Liaise with clients, trades, designers, project managers, and scope writers to ensure everyone is aligned Assist with scope writing and project documentation Schedule and coordinate house measurements, asbestos testing, site visits with trades, and professional photography Gather pricing and prepare detailed quotes for fixed-price scopes Organize product ordering and sample tracking Help with marketing tasks, including bi-weekly blog posts and social media support Wear many hats and switch between tasks with initiative and organization
Required Skills:

5+ years experience in project coordination, administration, or project management--ideally in renovation, construction, or design-related industries Basic understanding of design plans and scope writing a plus Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent time management--able to complete tasks on deadline Reliable and dedicated, with a strong team-player mindset Fine eye for detail, ability to follow instructions and self-check work Solution-oriented, upbeat, and positive Professional attitude Ability to travel to Vancouver on rare occasions Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Bonus Skills:

Marketing, advertising, or social media experience Experience in high-quality residential renovations Experience with project management software (Buildertrend or similar)
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
