Job Description

Dynamic Fixturing Inc is a Retail Fixturing Contractor specializing in grocery store renovations across Western Canada.

We are looking for motivated and dependable experienced Renovation Handyman / Carpenter candidates to start on a project in Kelowna, BC for approximately 16 weeks.

Initial employment will be on a contract basis for 16 weeks, with the potential of ongoing or long term employment for the right candidate.

Experience with residential and retail renovations, fixture installation and millwork is a bonus (setup of cabinets, shelving, warehouse racking, millwork, store displays and signage).

Responsibilities and Duties

Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills
Motivated and works well independently
Working knowledge of common software and internet applications such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

Candidates

must

possess a valid driver's license and be able to work in Western Canada (Some out of town travel required if you become a Permanent Employee)

Travel, accommodation and LOA are paid in addition to wages.

Night Shift 11:00PM - 7:00AM

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in finish carpentry, general carpentry, renovations
Experienced with hand and power tools
Constructing merchandise displays
Forklift and Scissor Lift License
Layout and assembly of grocery & warehouse shelving & racking
Comfortable reading and interpreting floor plans and blueprints
Excellent analytical skills
Extremely organized and efficient
Eye for detail, with Problem solving & team focused skills
Must have current WHMIS, Fall Protection and First Aid Certificates.

*Must have a Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and own hand tools.
