Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead carpenter to join our Apple Homes Renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, with expertise in various trades including carpentry, finished carpentry, Setting windows and doors, Drywall Finishing and various finishing tasks. This role requires a hands-on leader who can, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality workmanship on all assignments. Duties

Oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution. Perform high level tasks inside the carpentry spectrum. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively while maintaining a clean work environment. Conduct construction finishing tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Manage window installation and caulking duties as part of the construction process. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks Mentor junior staff in woodworking techniques and general construction practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction, carpentry, with and understanding of basic masonry, plumbing, or electrical work to ensure all trades have a clean path to completion Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics. Familiarity with Skid steer and material handler machinery is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to perform robust lifting consistently throughout the workday. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively. A valid driver's license is preferred for transportation to job sites. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the industry. Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
