As a Renovation Contractor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage renovation projects from start to finish. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your duties will include:
- Collaborating with clients to understand their renovation needs and goals
- Developing project plans and timelines
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating their work schedules
- Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
- Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as needed
- Conducting quality control inspections
- Managing project budgets and controlling costs
- Providing regular updates to clients on project status
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the renovation process

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating and cost management
- Experience with various renovation tasks such as caulking, cabinet installation, concrete finishing, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Knowledge of welding techniques (if applicable)
- Skilled in carpentry work and general construction practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
