About us Our company is a small business in Ottawa, ON. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to support sustainable futures for our community. We are managing and operating over 1.3MW of Solar PV facilities, a hydro-electric generator and have more in the pipeline. Our work environment includes in-office, on site and working from home. We are seeking a reliable and efficient technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of analyzing production data, presenting this data to clients, creating and preparing plans for dealing with issues ,troubleshooting issues and performing repairs. The technician will be responsible for travelling within the Ottawa area to complete site work which could involve heights, personnel lifting equipment and working independantly. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative team which has developed multiple technologies that have been implemented at dozens of locations in the Ottawa area. Responsibilities:

• Review production data daily
• Compare with historical info and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Update site status reports and provide weekly status updates to clients.
• Drive to sites within 200kms of Ottawa to complete site work.
• Complete electrical, networking and mechanical/hydraulic inspections and troubleshooting on site.
• Perform routine site reviews.

Required knowledge and experience: - must be familiar with electrical power systems, AC and DC circuits. -Must be familiar with basic networking such as IP addressing schemes and port forwarding. -must be familiar with Hydraulic systems and controls. -familiarity with machine controls and PLC programming an asset Successful proponent must have a diploma in mechanical, electrical technology or related fields and 3 years professional experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits:
