Renewable Energy (Solar) Technician Location: Barrie, ON Overview: Spark Power is a leading independent power solutions provider to the electrical service industry across North America. We are excited to provide careers in Renewables and are committed to being the best employer possible. Our product is our people! What you'll be doing as a Renewables (Solar) General Labourer:

• Assist with removal and reinstallation of solar equipment on rooftops
• Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and policies including JHAs, SOPs, work instructions, etc.
• Complete routine Safety documentation before every job including tailgate meetings, electrical work permits, etc.
• Complete general Reporting and documentation of all work performed on a daily basis.
• Work in a team-based environment and independently whereas necessary.
• Participation in on-call weekend services on a rotating schedule.
• Identify and provide feedback to issues and ongoing development of projects.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma
• 1-2 years of general labour experience
• Experience in the renewable energy industry an asset
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Consistently work in a safe manner, adhering to Spark Power health and safety standards and protocols
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Must be able to lift 34kg (75lb)
• Ability to work at heights with good ergonomics, work may take place on ladders, platforms, and cramped spaces with constant standing and kneeling.
• Work in adverse weather conditions and extreme temperatures
• Criminal background check is required
